(Moseleya latistellata)

$171.99 - $280.99
Moseleya corals are typically found in the shallow waters of the Indo-Pacific region, including areas such as the Great Barrier Reef, Indonesia, and the Philippines in turbid water and muddy substrates. Like most corals, Moseleya corals have a symbiotic relationship with photosynthetic algae called zooxanthellae. These algae reside within the coral's tissues and provide them with nutrients through photosynthesis. Moseleya corals are considered relatively hardy and can be suitable for aquariums with proper water parameters and lighting conditions. They require stable water conditions, low to moderate water flow, and moderate lighting. Moseleya corals can vary in their tolerance to copper. It is generally recommended to avoid exposing them to high copper levels, as it can be harmful to their health. Corals will benefit from the addition of Calcium, Strontium, Iodine, Magnesium and Trace Elements.

Moseleya Corals may also be known as Maze or Giant Star Corals. Uncommonly seen in the aquarium trade. The Moseleya Corals are generally a tan, brown or green color. Moseleya Coral colonies will vary greatly in size.
