Gold Dot Maroon Clownfish
(Amphiprion biaculeatus)
The Gold Dot Maroon Clownfish is a unique variation of the classic Maroon Clownfish. This Captive Bred Clownfish variety is occasionally seen in the aquarium trade. Gold Dot Maroon Clownfish have the classic overall maroon color and three white stripes but will have one or more round spots on their body. The white stripes and spots may turn a beautiful yellow color. Each fish will have its own unique patterns and shapes. The female Gold Dot Maroon Clownfish can grow to almost 6" with males only reaching about 3".
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 30 gallons or larger for this species.
