(Pseudocheilinus ocellatus)
$239.99 - $329.99
Pseudocheilinops Wrasse are small, shy and secretive fish generally found among heavy coral growth. Pseudocheilinops Wrasse should be added to a large well established aquarium with plenty of swimroom as they are open water swimmers. . Provide plenty of rockwork with cracks, caves and crevices for hiding. Pseudocheilinops can be kept with other peaceful tank mates but only 1 male per aquarium. Wrasse are hermaphrodites meaning they start as juveniles/females but at some point in their life may turn into a male. Provide an aquarium with a tight fitting lid as they may jump.
The Mystery Wrasse are also sometimes known as the Whitebarred Wrasse. Occasionally seen in the aquarium trade. Juvenile Mystery Wrasse have a red body with horizontal thin white lines, yellow face with irregular pink stripes and a white trimmed black eyespot on its caudal peduncle. As the fish matures the white stripes may begin to fade. Mystery Wrasse can grow to a little over 5".
