Shortspine Urchin

Echinometra Urchins are often known as Needle Shortspine, Slate Pencil or Black Sea Urchins. They are relatively common in the aquarium trade. Echinometra Urchins are a dark color but can range from black to dark brown or dark purple. They can reach up to 4".
