These heavy duty bulkheads were designed for industrial applications where being able to withstand abuse from harsh elements is a must. The pvc material is extremely rugged retaining it's integrity even with prolonged exposure to UV and Ozone. The thick gasket washer molds evenly against the tank surface to create a complete uniform seal, even with slightly uneven surfaces.
